Mary Zider is originally from Vermont, and was a standout in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. She was a high school All-American Soccer player who was selected to participate in the inaugural McDonald’s High School All-American Game as one of the top 36 female soccer players in the U.S. Mary attended Boston College with an athletic soccer scholarship. After college, Mary found her way into the New England racing scene where her strong endurance background quickly distinguished her as a strong all-around rider. She has raced in France, Belgium, Sweden, and Germany with professional cycling teams, and joined Colavita/Fine Cooking in 2012. For 2015, she is both the director sportif and a cyclist for Colavita/Fine Cooking. Mary loves traveling, Indian food, and break dancing.
