The routes will not be marked. There will be no rest stops along the routes. There will be no SAG drivers roving the routes. There will be no first responders stationed on the routes.
Registration
Registration for the Hot Binge is free. In lieu of a registration fee, we appreciate contributions to our non-profit partner.
Fundraiser
The Bookwalter Binge PUB has raised over $71,000 for land conservation and other non-profit organizations. For the Hot Binge, we are partnering with Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina to support land conservation efforts in and around the Hot Binge routes. Specifically, we are asking all Bingers to contribute to the Catawba Meadows MTB Trail Project that is already underway and partially funded for completion. We need your help to get this project to the finish line.
- Make a contribution when you register for the Hot Binge – funds go directly to FCNC
- Grab some outdoor gear made by Kitsbow. Half of the profit from this Binge/Kitsbow collaboration will be contributed to FCNC.
Lunch & Beer
At the end of your ride, Kitsbow will treat you to a free beverage (samples of Hillman craft beer, iced tea, coffee, etc…). Grab & Go food, espresso, and specialty coffee drinks will be available for purchase.
A more substantial lunch can be found:
Foothills Local Meats grilling station located onsite at the Old Fort Ride House and just around the corner at Hillman Beer (pro-tip – you can get take out food AND beer and dine on any of the picnic tables)
