We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy for the 2015 Bookwalter Binge. Proceeds from the Binge support The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, one of the country’s oldest and most respected land trusts. Founded in 1974 as a non-profit, charitable organization, SAHC works to conserve beautiful views, challenging trails, habitat for songbirds and wildlife, pristine streams, and family farms producing local food for culinary delights. SAHC achieves this by forging and maintaining long-term conservation relationships with private landowners and public agencies, owning and managing land, and encouraging healthy local communities. The Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy has helped ensure the protection of more than 68,000 acres throughout the region.
