The Pros are back! This feels like a true sign of resiliency and homecoming. Here’s the lineup…so far.
Jonny Clarke

The Bookwalter Binge is amped to announce the return of long time, veteran Pro Binger Jonny Clarke back to this years Binge weekend. The Australian turned North Carolinian is known by most Bingers for his sheriff like patrolling of the gran route as well as for mixing it up in the timed segments of the old school classic Binge format.
Now a resident of nearby Lenoir, NC, Jonny has become roadie to GRAVEL convert, honing in his form in Pisgah’s Grandfather district when not racing across the world with Wildlife Generation Pro Cycling. You can hang with Jonny’s at this years TuneUp, PUB rides and One Six Dun Party Where he’s promised to go all-in celebrating his mate’s pro cycling career.
Joey Rosskopf

Brent, Jamie and The Bingers are pumped to announce the inclusion of long time homie and veteran Binger, Joey Rosskopf back to the Binge for this year’s fall celebration. Despite Joey and his Rally Cycling squad pounding Brent into submission for the 2021 USA Pro Road Championship, Joey and Brent remain buddy’s who continue to train and hang together throughout the year. Joey arrives to this year’s Binge after a monumental season in which he not only became USA Champion, but also become a dad!
The Emperor of Athens, GA will be hard pressed to keep a low profile in those stars and striped duds, so be sure to get in line early for a hand shake and high 5 while he is sipping his pre PUB ride coffee at the Ride House.
Kiel Reijnen

Let’s welcome Kiel Reinjen to the Binge. A first time Binger but long time friend and competitor with Brent, Kiel has also chosen the 2021 season as the time to turn the page on his pro road racing career. This lions maned, journeyman rocker from the Pacific Northwest is equally at home on the waters of Puget Sound as he is on a bike. When not on the water or bike, you’ll find Kiel wielding a carpenters hammer and he will happily dive into conversation about the engineering and construction of their new house which he recently completed.
Heading for a 2022 season of gravel and MTB events with Trek – Segafredo, you can bet Kiel will be enjoying some of the non paved options of this years Binge and will happily be sharing his stories of dabbling in events like Unbound Gravel while continuing to operate as a father of 2 and as a pro roadie during his day job.
Alex Howes

The stars have aligned and the time is finally right for The Binge to welcome Alex Howes into the celebratory mix of riding and partying to finish off the 2021 cycling season. One of the few USA professionals who was around 2 decades ago, Alex continues to not only survive but thrive at the sports top level.
The 2019 USA road champion who joined the guild of fatherhood this year arrives at the Binge after another action packed 2021 with EF Education-NIPPO; where Alex used his roadie form to school more than a few seasoned mountain bikers and gravel pros at races like Unbound Gravel, SBT Gravel, Leadville and XC national championships.
Todd Herriott

The Binge is wham-bam excited to announce the arrival of Todd Herriott to this year’s Binge weekend. Coaching Brent during the first part of his career, Todd was last seen in Asheville almost a decade ago, wearing a pink helmet when braving the frigid Appalachian winter on a motor scooter as he pushed Brent to a breakout season.
A wizard of all things performance and cycling, Todd’s expertise on strength, conditioning and bike fits is only rivaled by his ability to throw down on the dance floor. A resident of Seattle, WA, Todd runs the show at Métier Racing and Coffee, a bicycle shop, training space and community hub steeped in the rich culture of cycling.
